Bocuse d'Or Poland Dinner at KUK

Join us on November 6th for an extraordinary culinary celebration at KUK Restaurant by Maciej Majewski!

Join us for an exceptional culinary experience at the Bocuse d’Or Poland ON TOUR DINNER at KUK Restaurant. Hosted by Maciej Majewski, Head Chef of KUK Restaurant, a finalist in the Polish Bocuse d’Or competitions in 2015 and 2018, and a judge in the 2021 edition. With expertise, openness, and imagination, Chef Majewski crafts unique culinary compositions that captivate the senses. Now, he’s building a remarkable restaurant experience from the ground up within Poland’s first Autograph Collection hotel. His cuisine embodies the belief that “logic will get you from point A to point B. Imagination will take you everywhere.” But that’s not all—two other distinguished chefs, well-known on Warsaw’s culinary scene, will also join us at Miodowa 6 for this special evening!

Chef Bartosz Szymczak, whose restaurant Rozbrat 20 proudly earned its first Michelin star this year, will also be joining us. His impressive culinary journey has taken him through London, France, and the United States, shaping his approach to cuisine and refining his skills. Reflecting on his path, he highlights two mentors who had a profound impact on him as a chef—Tom Aikens and Lee Westcott. One of the most memorable moments of his career was his first day working with Aikens, who taught him the true meaning of excellence. Under Aikens’ guidance, Chef Bartosz discovered a passion for cooking with the finest ingredients and a dedication to culinary perfection. He has been with Rozbrat 20 since 2016, building a reputation that reflects his commitment to quality and innovation.

Chef Witek Iwański, owner and Head Chef of Hub Praga—listed in the Michelin Guide for two consecutive years—will also grace us with his culinary talent. Known as one of Poland’s most innovative and decorated chefs, Iwański’s expertise was shaped by his experiences and internships at some of the world’s most acclaimed restaurants, including Maaemo, Frantzén, and Daniel Berlin in Scandinavia, as well as Azurmendi in Spain. He has also honed his skills through courses at the Institut Paul Bocuse in Lyon and the Basque Culinary Center in San Sebastián. A two-time Culinary Cup of Poland winner and named Chef of the Year by the International Academy of Gastronomy and Gault&Millau, Chef Witek brings his unique interpretations of contemporary culinary trends and modern Polish cuisine to guests at Hub Praga.
